The biggest flex right now—if Trump were actually the insanely successful billionaire he claims to be—would be writing a check as if it’s a mere nuisance and moving on.

Andrew Weissmann nails it again, “this guy can’t be trusted to run a company for three years without a babysitter?”

But we’re going to let him run the most powerful country on the planet????”

Per Rupar, as news is breaking about his huge fine, Trump is ranting on Lies Antisocial about pics of him w/ his stomach hanging out over his belt while he's golfing as fakes, posting other pics side by side.

Which do you suppose hurts him more, the millions or that he can’t do business in NY for 3 years?

Realistically, here's what will happen. He needs, in toto, around $600M in bonds. It will be lost money in either event, should he settle now, or appeal (w/ adjustments, obv). The bulk of that money will have to come from loans secured by properties.

If he can generate enough cash before an appeal would be settled to pay the bill, then he'll appeal. But if he's put in the position of having to sell properties later (in the public realm), then he'll take the loss now. That's the way I see it. It depends on his near term future liquidity.

The entirety of humanity could really benefit from doing away with the concept of social status. Nobody matters less than you. Nobody matters more than you.

Doesn't matter if they are homeless people or super wealthy, intellectually disabled or brilliant, peasants or royalty, nobodies or world leaders, foreigners or fellow citizens, ugly or beautiful... I can go on, but I hope you get the point. Every human life has value. Period.

Apparently a bunch of states are filing amicus briefs backing up Trump's claim that the only reason the DOJ wants the trial to move quickly is because it's politically motivated.

No time to go through them, but one refers to the "breakneck pace" of the DOJ.

There are so many things wrong with that argument, I don't want to get started.

But you can see why Trump filed this. These prosecutions are firing up his supporters to fight for him.

A clearly angered President Joe Biden expressed outrage today at House Republicans for leaving on a nearly two-week vacation without passing legislation to fund Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, or humanitarian aid to Gaza and just ahead of a scheduled federal funding deadline of their own choosing that could result in a government shutdown.

Now, while we keep hitting [REFRESH] feverishly to hope to get to the Engoron decision

Defendant Donald Elvis Jesus Trump does not know what the number will be EITHER

And HE will lose it all today. Imgaine HIS level of frustration at this wait
