A #Ukrainian military spokeswoman has said troops have pushed back occupying #Russian forces some 3-8 km from the left -- or eastern -- bank of the River #Dnipro. #Ukraine's army has said in recent days that it's taken several positions on the Russian- controlled side of the river near Kherson. Fighting has been reported -- incl by Russian military bloggers -- near #Krynky and Poima. Establishing a bridgehead on the Russian- controlled side has been a long- held Ukrainian objective.
