Many questions about this post, that I’ve now seen numerous times. It always brings me back to the question about “white.” Are the people who say things like this confusing “white” with “gentile?” Do they not believe Jews are white?

@copter_chief Egypt and the UN could have set up tents to house a million in the last month, if anyone had cared enough to try. They displaced 800K to a million and it certainly would have been possible. They’ve done it in Syria and Sudan. Germany, Poland and the Netherlands, etc. took in 4 million Ukrainians.
I’m still asking why Egypt has kept the Rafah Gate closed.

With non-Jewish people, that conversation can too easily veer to a denial of my basic humanity or ascribe innate properties to me with no evidence. So I really have to be much more careful who I engage on the topic
