@DebR Thank you ally now let's get to work and defeat Trump in 2024.👍
#USPOL
I was assuming this #election would be disappointing since only old people typically vote on odd years.
But the authoritarian populist right has really riled us normals and I AM HERE FOR IT!!
@StillIRise1963
YOU know, but just emphasizing to anyone who doesn’t.
Yes, TFG campaigned for death AFTER the exoneration.
This is MAGA values that NYC just voted against.
This is a huge, and very satisfying win!

"It is not lost on Yusef Salaam that, as he prepares to give his victory speech tonight for a seat representing Harlem on the New York City Council, former President Donald J. Trump is facing multiple criminal trials…“Karma is real and we have to remember that,” Salaam said."

I was honored to join @ifcmw to celebrate the diversity of faith traditions across our region this past weekend. I'm proud of our collective unity and tenacity of spirit during a time of profound global heartbreak and terror.
Yusef Salaam, one of the members of the ‘Central Park 5,’ who later became known as the ‘Exonerated 5,’ has officially won the City Council District 9 seat in New York, NY. Salaam ran unopposed in the Harlem district after winning the Democratic primary election earlier this year in a landslide.
Democrat Brandon Sakbun--27-year-old former Army Ranger—wins Terre Haute mayoral race, beating four-term incumbent Republican Duke Bennett. @INDems Chairman Mike Schmuhl has compared him to Pete Buttigieg. (Buttigieg did not become mayor of South Bend until age 29.)
America rejects the MAGA agenda.
Democrats retain control of Virginia state Senate. Will block Glenn Youngkin’s proposed abortion ban.
Danica Roem is now Virginia's first transgender Senator.
Democrats retain the governor's office in Kentucky.
Ohio votes to protect reproductive rights.
Abortion rights have been on the ballot in multiple states since Roe was overturned.
Each time, abortion rights have won, with Ohio set to enshrine abortion rights in their constitution tonight.
Kansas: 59-41
Vermont: 76-24
Montana: 52-47
Michigan: 56-43
Kentucky: 52-47
California: 67-33
Ohio: 55-45 likely
The majority of the US considers access to abortion a fundamental right.
Conservatives cling to this ‘silent majority” nonsense, and it’s just that. Nonsense.
Abortion is healthcare.
This appears to be an excellent night for US moderates -> progressives. Reactionaries and fascists can suck it. Again.
Marijuana legalization: Decision Desk HQ projects #Ohio Issue 2 has passed.
#DecisionMade: 9:12pm EST
This also enshrines miscarriage emergency care, reproductive care, and contraception access into the state's constitution. WOMENS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS!!!
