If you want to see what people think of the USA, don't use July 4 as the high mark of their patriotism, look at the next day, July 5. That morning, go to any city park or public space. You'll likely find that these "patriotic" revelers have left their country full of trash, discarded fireworks bits, beer cans, etc. for "someone else" to clean up. This careless and thoughtless disregard for community seems to have gotten worse each year. It does not have to be like this.
