Rep. Santos is charged with seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives.

Indictment against Rep, Santos charges him with fraud, money laundering and theft of public funds.

Reflecting on that election, I remember having to write an at-home essay about the election. (I was in Honors English.) I had wanted Kennedy to win, but I knew my teacher was rooting for Nixon. I wasn't all that politically wrapped around the axle in 1960, so I blamed Nixon's loss on his nerves, "wipe out the farmers...uh...farm surplus" and the sweat glistening on his upper lip, versus Kennedy's polished, smooth delivery. Easy A.

I don't think it's sufficiently sunk in for people that the entire "controversy" over Bud Light's partnership with Dylan Mulvaney was that she exists and the right doesn't want trans people to exist.

She didn't do anything. They sent bomb threats to beer bottling plants and cowed a brand into submission over a popular trans woman merely existing.

The right is saying they get decided who is allowed to live their lives in peace and who isn't, and they'll enforce it with threats and violence.

One of the most dangerous things about #Trump is how his crew of grotesque, self-defiling asslickers always ends up trashing American institutions - like the right to a jury trial - while they're falling all over themselves to defend him. It's always "Trump First," America last.
