I know I'm preaching to the choir, here, and it's a choir in an echo chamber, to boot, but I'll say this anyway: In my community, I often hear the word "woke" used pejoratively. This is by turns tiresome and eyeroll-inducing.

I wish that otherwise intelligent people would just stop it.
