Republican Missouri State Senator Mike Moon has clarified that while he thinks adults should not marry children, it is okay for children, as young as 11 or 12, to marry each other - if their parents approve.

I'm confident that decent, intelligent Republicans exist, but I'm mystified that they can stomach associating with people like Republican State Senator Moon.
