@AlliFlowers Maybe because I grew up in a household full of guns, I hate guns. I don’t own one and never will. Given the MAGA encouragement of pogroms against trans people, though, and this new attempt to render them completely defenseless, I’ll be happy to buy a gun for any trans person who wants one. (I live in AZ, so trust me, this’ll be a piece of cake. The only thing AZ has more of than gun stores is fundamentalist churches.)

Jordy: What's beyond vile is calling this the Epstein hoax. It's dismissing the lived trauma of all of the survivors, and it's to undermine the credibility of people who bravely came forward about the abuse. It's disgusting.

These people who have really lived through hell. Donald Trump, the president, the commander in chief, is calling them liars.

Spencer Kuvin, lawyer for Epstein’s victims, says the FBI interviewed 40+ girls, some just 14, and prepared a 54-count indictment. Then came the secret plea deal that let Epstein walk. Those interviews are in the files. Kuvin says Alan Dershowitz scoured the girls’ MySpace pages to smear them as liars.

I’m saddened and angry but not surprised that MAGA never really cared about the Epstein victims. But it was my last hope that they had some humanity left and now we know they only care about Trump.
