@AlliFlowers With CBS it’s not necessarily “folding” per se. Shari Redstone is as MAGA as they come. She finally has the power in the company and is making sure to show her true colors.

@GottaLaff

He has the highest rating of any of the equivalent late night shows, by a significant margin. If it was financial they'd give him a raise and increase the marketing budget to increase that gap.

We all know why they did this. The media is 110% complicit in the fall of the country in to fascism.

@tofugolem One of them told me that I should be relieved that women are safer now that bathroom bills exclude transwomen. I said, no, actually, now all girls and women are subject to random genital checks and ID checks in public bathrooms by anyone. And there are no dangers to women from transwomen anyway. That’s all just made up in order to both control women and to attack any vulnerable groups first. So tired of this.

Fuck CBS, Paramount, Ellison. This is no "financial decision." It is Trump taking over American media. This is Hungary. This is disgusting.

GOP Chair Chuck Grassley says Emil Bove's nomination has advanced.

Ranking Member Dick Durbin disputes that, saying it's an open question and may be up to the Senate parliamentarian because Democrats believe Republicans broke committee rules in the process of forcing the vote.

There's a flesh-eating virus that's going to require doctors and scientists to deal with it. All we have now is RFK Jr. and four people are already deceased.

Thanks, American voters.

WSJ - Trump’s letter to Epstein for his 50th birthday has the outline of a naked woman, small arcs denoting breasts with a squiggly ’Donald’ signature below her waist, mimicking pubic hair. It concludes: “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.” wsj.com/politics/trump-jeffrey

FFOTUS' new big awful ugly bill has a rarely noticed provision to effectively eliminate taxes on startup founder's income. It is a gift of prodigious size to the mega-$billionaires who kow tow to FFOTUS.

I am wondering if one could structure a consulting (or other) business as a startup in which you are are the sole holder of voting stock and also the sole holder of a pool of non-voting stock (yup, that's not only allowed, it is rather common practice.)

Then as you do jobs the client could purchase some of those non-voting shares from you.

Would that result in tax free income? I dunno, but it deserves a looking into.

WATCH: “I’d just like people to freaking approach this Epstein issue with the same zeal & commitment they approached Biden’s age. That’s all I’m asking from the mainstream media.” @sarahlongwell25.bsky.social on @thebulwark.com #NextLevel pod: youtu.be/zmcc1TLu47I?...
