The Taiwanese coast guard is boarding the Chinese-owned vessel ”Hong Tai” after it was caught destroying an undersea telecommunications cable between Taiwan & its Kinmen island near China.

The crew, which is all Chinese, is being detained and taken to Taiwan.

Somebody hacked the TVs at the Department of Housing and Urban Development in the US today to play this video on a loop.

They couldn’t figure out what to do so they sent staff to turn off the TVs, but other staff started turning them back on.

⚡️ The UN General Assembly backed a resolution initiated by Ukraine & European nations—opposed by the U.S., Russia, Hungary, Israel & Belarus. Meanwhile, the UN also passed a U.S.-led resolution with Russian amendments, rebranding the war as a "conflict." 89 voted in favor, 8 against, 70 abstained.

"The United States just voted alongside Russia against a Ukrainian amendment in the United Nations General Assembly, which called for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. The United States is now actively supporting Russia's occupation of Ukrainian territory."

When asked about it, #State issued a stmnt saying the plans are now on hold w/no plans of fulfilling the contract, pointing out that talks w/ #Tesla began under Biden.

But NPR has obtained a State Dept document detailing that #Biden's State Dept planned to spend just $483k in the 2025 fiscal year on buying EVs & $3M for supporting equipment…. It represented <1% of the hundreds of millions likely destined for Tesla vehicles after the #Trump admin quietly revised a State Dept procurement doc.
