@katmckatniss You'd think they'd at least get rid of some of the real idiots though - like Kennedy.

@katmckatniss There are still some good ones out there. Just not in the south.

@katmckatniss Now I'm sitting here trying to decide who has the worst lawmakers: LA or AL. I think you win by a hair.

That's what I'm thinking, and now we have an omen to confirm it. (I'm afraid this is real, and I hope no one was hurt. It's just so unbelievable that a Cybertruck blew up at the entrance of a Trump hotel. Couldn't have made up better accidental symbolism.)

If your foot falls asleep and stays asleep, is it coma toes?

@wdlindsy

I am not religious, at all, but I was always in awe of Carter, especially after he left office.

A shining example of walking the walk. One of the mani reasons I eschew religion is the way most people do not walk the walk.

It's a HUGE problem for me especially now when so many on the right profess to be faithful, yet what they DO everyday has NOTHING to do with the teachings of the bible.

And when you ask them how they justify...they flat refuse to answer.

@czarbucks I was sceptical at first. He ran for president not long after I'd been expelled from Baptist missionary school. (Long story.) He gave me faith in christians.

Over six decades, Jill and I had the honor of calling Jimmy Carter a dear friend.

But, what’s extraordinary about Jimmy Carter, though, is that millions of people throughout America and the world who never met him thought of him as a dear friend as well.

I'm glad that President Carter lived long enough to vote for VP Harris, per his wish, but died before what is coming on January 20. RIP to the most decent and moral person to ever hold the Presidency. As a fellow resident of the Great State of Georgia, I salute a true American hero.🇺🇸

Honor that man's legacy by throwing a few dollars towards an organization where he donated thousands of hours (and calories) of his time.

Habitat For Humanity is not one of my normal monthly donations, but maybe it will be in 2025, starting now...
