Extreme heat is making schools hotter — and learning harder tucsonsentinel.com/nationworld
Children have a harder time thermo-regulating and take longer to produce sweat, making them more vulnerable than adults to heat exhaustion and illness, and now the effect extreme heat is having on schools and child care is starting to get the attention of policymakers and researchers.

Iowa is the latest to ban abortion > "six weeks"

In fact: "six weeks since last menstrual period ended". Ovulation only happens 7-10 days later.

"Six weeks" is just enough time to be "a bit late" … if one's cycle is regular, but most are not.

Things that can delay the cycle include:*
▪ exercise
▪ travel across time zones
▪ stress

So it's effectively a 0-to-4-week abortion ban.
Or, a Total Abortion Ban, for short. 😭

Perhaps the women in M∆G∆'s ideal world never deal with these?

Are you a cat or dog person?

We all know TLDR. Now we’re ready for TMHTDR. Too Many Hash Tags!

Mitt Romney: “I don’t know that I can disrespect someone more than J. D. Vance.”

Trump's statements about ending elections could disappear down the memory hole, buried by his next nonsensical boast or outrageous lie. Don’t move on. Don’t let this go. Or Project 2025 either.

@SrRochardBunson First Christians appropriated the Passover Seder and now they want to use it to justify being angry. 🤷‍♀️@tofugolem@mastodon.social

We have 102 days to election day

A lot of work ahead but we are ahead and they are behind. We have a movement. They are imploding

And America will have its first woman President

Kamala Harris

FREEDOM !!

Alabama’s bass-ackward politicians are always a step ahead of America’s demise. Leading the way backwards is what we do here in this environmentally beautiful, absolutely friendly but politically oppressive deep red state.

According to #JDVance, people who have #biologicalChildren should have greater #votingPower than people who don't. Would the votes of parents of biological children count doubly? Or would those of us without children count as 3/5ths? Whatever the hell this guy is thinking is both insane, and practically unworkable. So, why did he say it? It's 100% virtue signaling, and promoting the "#traditionalFamily" fetish that thrives in the #GOP.
