"I told ABC that their story was largely inaccurate. People will have to judge for themselves the decision to run it anyway." Terwilliger said.

However, @JoyceVance said, there are different types of immunity & some aren’t “offered” or “granted”

Basically, Terwilliger (as lawyers are wont to do) may be mincing words to give his client cover.
