OK, so the police made a mistake and did a license plate lookup using "AZ" (Arizona) rather than "AR" (Arkansas). That is understandable.

But why the guns and handcuffs? Can the officers articulate concrete reasons for this? (I seriously doubt that they can.)

Our police forces and officers are operating under the belief that that the officers are allowed to commit the most egregious abuses - including killing - if they have the most insubstantial grounds to believe they should be fearful.

That is wrong.
