The real reason Joe Manchin is entertaining an ill-advised White House run: Gov. Jim Justice (who is aimng for Manchin's Senate seat) has a 66% favorability rating in West Virginia compared to Manchin's 38%. Manchin is dancing with No Labels because of this.

But the talking heads in most of the national media never mention this.

Also, I wonder if Harlan Criw has been calling these “charters” businesses expenses, even as Clarence Thomas is refusing to declare them as gifts because they’re “personal hospitality.”

Is Criw making a “business expenditure,” or “hosting” a “friend.” It really can’t be both. He either needs to hang Thomas out to dry, or pay those taxes.
