@AlliFlowers @juddlegum @JaneGray oh she reads and writes well enough to know how to use words to blame a depiction of racism for being racist; it's not stupidity, it's ill will.

@juddlegum @JaneGray Conklin would not pass a 4th grade reading assessment that has the reader identify the “theme or purpose” of a passage.

4. According to a spokesperson for the Pinellas County Schools, out of 60 second graders at North Shore Elementary, "two families opted to not have their student participate in viewing the movie."

As we await news on the #trumpindictment don’t forget that there was a tape of Donald and Michael Cohen discussing creating a “company”, presumably to pay for multiple cleanup operations like the Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels matters. If this can be established, Trump may be facing charges of not only FEC violations, but possibly bank fraud and wire fraud. #stormydaniels #davidpecker #michaelcohen #karenmcdougal #TrumpCrimeFamily usatoday.com/story/opinion/201

@tdwllms1 @danwentzel @GatekeepKen I know. I just felt compelled to throw that in there. Some day I’m going to fall off my soapbox and hurt myself. 😉

@tdwllms1 @danwentzel @GatekeepKen An awful lot of teachers have also faced gun violence. It is just as traumatic for the adults who are expected to give our lives to protect the children. Been there, done that.

A good percentage of my friends are Nazis. That percentage is zero; that’s a good percentage of Nazi friends to have.

“In terms of days and moments lived, you’ll never again be as young as you are right now, so spend this day, the youth of your future, in a way that deflects regret. Invest in yourself. Have some fun. Do something important. Love somebody extra. In one sense, you’re just a kid, but a kid with enough years on her to know that every day is priceless.”

@DemocracyMattersALot Maybe the military bases in Florida need to be closed, and redeployed to places where they want the US Federal Government to be involved.

@tob @SrRochardBunson I figured that. These pro-forced-birth people should all be forced to work in schools.

Congressman who represents the Nashville district involved in deadly school shooting posted a gun-toting family photo for Christmas in 2021

Growing up in the 1970s and 80s, we had a set of “Jarts” and used to enjoy playing them on our lawn. But they were definitely dangerous and I’m not surprised so many people were injured and a few killed (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawn_dar )

As @Strandjunker notes, it only took *one* child’s death to galvanize Congress to act and ban metal lawn darts in 1988.

Yet today 3 children died, and the cowards in Congress refuse to act.

Each deserved life. How many more deaths will it take? #GunReformNOW

@SrRochardBunson Does he mean the innocent babies in school? Or is he working on some other data set?
