A trillionaire couldn't stop it.
Hateful ads couldn't stop it.
Gerrymandering couldn't stop it.
Voter suppression couldn't stop it.

The people of Texas had their day.

Let's remember which billionaires lined up behind Trump and how they tried to buy influence. Elon Musk dropped nearly half a billion dollars. Jeff Yass, the Uihleins, Ken Griffin. They all poured hundreds of millions into Republican campaigns, betting their money could carry him through.

They were betting on permanence. On staying in the president's good graces. On power protecting its own.

Well, the winds shifted today. Democrats took the Senate. Won the House. Flipped governorships in Texas, Georgia, Ohio, and Iowa. Voters sent a clear message about what happens when wealth concentrates political access.

Power flows to where voters send it. Not to where billionaires write checks. Remind them of that.

@AlliFlowers The Democrats can’t squander this. They must grab the bull by the horns and aggressively move in a manner that benefits the majority quickly. First is stop Rule By Malfeasance and the flow of cash into Humpty’s pocket. Yes stick with Ukraine! Real in Israel! But 1st and foremost, we must get our own house in order, PERIOD. We must neutralize the primary threat at our throats. This must happen. I don’t see fascists giving up so easily.
