By me.

Europe Can No Longer Ignore That It’s Under Russian Attack.
And why that may turn out to be a good thing.

@wdlindsy the members of the military have pledged their lives and blood to protect the people of the United States

87 of Stephen King’s works are banned in US schools

That’s almost 2% of his output

More and more governments and organisations are freeing themselves from vendor lock-in! The Austrian military has moved 16,000 PCs to #LibreOffice – getting vital digital sovereignty in the process: blog.documentfoundation.org/bl #foss #OpenSource #freesoftware

"no more dudes in dresses," but clowns in makeup still OK 🤮

@AfroIsReborn Of course, trump can't use most words regardless of their starting letter.

So Pete Hegseth says no more ‘overweight people’ in the military. Cool. Is Kristi Noem rolling out the same weight policy for ICE agents or does the rule stop where MAGA cosplay begins? I guess the shaving policy doesn’t matter when the only thing visible under the ski masks is their eyes.

"President Trump did not have many bad things to say about America’s foreign adversaries. He spoke about Vladimir Putin in largely neutral terms (only saying he was 'disappointed' in him) and barely mentioned China.

He did, however, speak with great moral clarity about certain classes of Americans whom he views as a grave threat:"

President Trump says "it's not appropriate" to take questions now about the Gaza peace plan but if Netanyahu wants to take a question from "a friendly Israeli reporter," he can. The prime minister declines the suggestion.

Will the media even bother asking Trump to comment on Netanyahu's claims, saying US strikes were never intended to take out all of Iran's enriched uranium? He said it on Fox, no less.

“The plural of anecdote isn't data.”
—Carl Sagan

There are plenty of studies that examine all the political violence over a given date range, and find that the majority of political violence is coming from the right (during the 60s, it was the reverse).

Republicans counter this by pointing at a handful of carefully-selected data points, or even a single data point, and demanding that we form our conclusions based on that instead of looking at all the data.

Mike Johnson and the Heritage foundation’s dominionist christian bullshit with the 7 Mountains Mandate is really kicking off.

Isolate America from allies, especially western secular/progressive ones, destroy education, control media, and now finally dominate arts and entertainment so that the cultural zeitgeist is whatever they say it is.

@chemoelectric Most of the tests I gave *were* the homework, which we had just gone over. The sad fact is that few students had actually done the homework, and fewer still paid attention or asked questions upon review. @hosford42 @ZBennoui @zakalwe @marionline
