The following are my thoughts and are not a criticism of your reaction:

Betar's collaboration with Trump is an existential risk to the US and the lives of minority people. It's not their turn yet, but they are putting Jews at risk.

Every Jewish organisation in the US should be actively condemning them. They should be unable to show up to any Jewish community spaces.

But they know that their loudest, most obnoxious critics will be antisemites on the left. And nobody wants to be in common cause with antisemites, so people that would normally condemn them are staying quiet. Betar knows this and are implicitly collaborating with every kind of antisemite to keep operating. They're the pet Jews of fascists, giving themselves temporary cover on the right, and use leftist antisemites to provide political cover on the left. There is no Jew-hater who Betar is not using for political advantage.

They are despicable. But it's also very much in our interest and theirs that we get them first. If they wait until the fascists turn on them, it's too late for any of us.

@HarriettMB This is a clear attempt of the US administration trying to force their vile ideology on Europe through banning diversity, equity and inclusion - because that's what the abb. stand for. And they want us to ban anything that THEY deem DEI. Here. In. Europe.

It's about time that Europe says 'Go home America, you're drunk' - say NO to fascism, bigoty and racism. We don't want that here.
