@LindaCollins11 If only Hamas would agree to a cease-fire. If only Hamas actually had any hostages left to bargain with….

No, no, no. Comparing the campus protests in the 60’s and the campus protests today is like comparing apples and hedgehogs.

We protested the war in Vietnam because our country was boots on the ground. We lost friends, fathers, husbands, brothers, and sons.

The US is not involved in the war in Gaza. We have no vested interest. It is not our war. The students, particularly at , are being incredibly selfish.

When corporations raise prices, why is it we blame workers fighting for wages high enough to pay their bills, but don't blame the CEOs taking home record millions in pay packages?

Columbia University on Monday began suspending pro-Palestinian activists who refused to dismantle a tent encampment on its New York City campus after the Ivy League school declared a stalemate in talks seeking to end the polarizing protest.

@CStamp Did your parents have any children who weren’t affected by anencephaly?

@blueemu You enjoy being a troll? Do you do it for fun, or does Russia pay you? The only lies and propaganda here are coming from you.

@CStamp The US has no boots on the ground. That is the difference between today’s protests and those of the 60’s.

Tell me about the friends and family you’ve lost?

@blueemu No. If you’re going to engage in the conversation, you need to make it personal. Here’s another hot tip for you - there is no genocide, except by Hamas.

A good friend just found out that genetic material she stored 5 years ago before starting to transition was destroyed 4 years ago by the company, Legacy, and they kept charging her for storage until they notified her last week about what they'd done, and in the meantime told her that everything was fine and being handled correctly. Just in case any y'all were thinking about this.

@blueemu
Really? Did I miss the reinstatement of the draft? Are our children fighting in Gaza? What is *your* vested interest?

They are denying freedom to their fellow students. Why? Do they really have a clue what they’re protesting? I think not.

Meanwhile, they are doing the exact same thing as the settlers in the West Bank - camping where they are not wanted and don’t belong.

@bruno_j_navarro Brought to you by people who have been ethically cleansed. 🙄 @shekinahcancook@babka.social

Yeah, those stories.

Well, while those lies were being told, turns out that the Republicans telling them actually WERE spilling blood — as if the very thing they accuse someone else of is what they are doing.

Take Kristi Noem, who's said to be on Trump's VP list, and who now reveals she shot a 14-month-old puppy and with her blood thirst not sated by that cruel action, she turned her gun to a goat after that.

Adrian Horton reviews the new documentary "Bad Faith," tracking the rise of Christian nationalism in US politics today. As the film notes, Christian nationalist ideas have always been there in US culture, but they're on steroids today.

The current pseudo-religious political movement got underway with the formation of the Moral Majority by Republican strategist Paul Weyrich in the 1970s.
