This city. I took a train ride today. Staff made sure the first person gave ‘em some money (looked to be a Latina parent), then skipped over me and another white person, and asked the Black woman behind us to pay up.

Not sure I have more to say right now, but this story needs telling.

Given the whiteness of Downtown and nearly every group with capital here, I’m sure this kind of stuff happens daily. May our shame lead to meaningful positive change.
