Friends. I’m seeking advice for my niece.

She’s being asked to take on new responsibilities at her job and wants to be properly compensated. They’re asking her to do Microsoft Access work. Her role isn’t technical and has nothing to do with it. (She’s also a Black woman who doesn’t want to get walked over because of it.)

Does anyone have any advice or info about what compensation looks like for that kind of work? Thanks in advance!

To be clear, Trump has already been found liable for fraud. That is not the issue in this hearing. The issue is, as I understand it, how much money he owes to people he defrauded. So he should be trying to minimize damage, not proudly advertising how little he cared about accuracy.

@charliejane Tapley really gives herself away when she says that Witter is "fighting [Moms for Liberty] actively", as if she thinks that's somehow criminal.

I know they *wish* it were criminal to disagree with them, but it isn't *yet*. You'd better believe librarians and other freedom-loving people are fighting Moms for Liberty — we can see they want to make it illegal to fight them, and we're not going to let that happen!

You couldn't make this up: an antisemite accidentally commits a hate crime against a group of antisemites. In Indianapolis, a woman thought a Radical Hebrew Israelite school – a group that is antisemitic, anti-LGBTQ, misogynistic, etc. – was an "Israel school" (i.e., Jewish school) so she drove her car into it.

Just today's reminder that Jewish people and facilities are indeed being targeted. (And even if another group hates me, I don't want their kids hurt.)
