NEW YORK — Federal prosecutors accused Sen. Bob Menendez on Thursday of secretly acting as an agent of the government of Egypt while serving as the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, adding to the slate of criminal charges for which the New Jersey Democrat was indicted last month.

I am so angry that the Israeli government had to release photos of mutilated murdered babies in an attempt to refute denial. This is a spectacle of death and the dead should be protected from it. It is profoundly disrespectful and it shows the contempt in which many hold the Jewish victims of violence, even the ones too young to have learned their first word.

But the thing is, public documentation will never be enough. The Holocaust is the most well-documented genocide and that does not stop Holocaust denial, not at all. “People love dead Jews” but only when it serves their narrative. Otherwise we are lying manipulators with a sinister agenda.

I have not seen the photos and hope never to. If more people would see the victims of massacre and war as real people, they would stop clamoring for such “evidence” which serves no purpose other than to desecrate the dead. #Israel
