I don’t even bother anymore with the qualification that it doesn’t have to go all the way to concentration camps or legal segregation for a resurgence of those ideologies to violate and destroy basic human rights.

Because I think a lot of the GOP base has gotten conditioned to thinking both are fine.

Removing the cap on the amount that high income recipients pay on their SS taxes would go a long way to fix the SS deficit.

Why can’t high income recipients pay SS taxes at the same rate as a percentage of their income as lower wage people? They can, but the GOP doesn’t care about average people. They won’t impose any tax on the rich.
