If the recent SCOTUS decision means Congress can write off student debt, then we've got work to do.
We need to take back the House and get a few more seats in the Senate.
We need to elect Senators (and get serving Senators) on board with:
1. Codifying Roe v., Wade
2. Authorizing forgiveness of student debt
3. Passing federal legislation protecting LGBTQ folks
The moral arc of the universe bends toward justice only if we bend it.

#Trump is bragging that his ancestors never owned #slaves, as if that's some high bar of personal character. Note that he doesn't mention the fact that his ancestors were documented members of the #KKK who were arrested for actions against #black people. Or the fact that Trump and his father both have a documented history of #discrimination against black Americans. Trump is a verified #racist regardless of the fact that his family didn't own slaves.

@StillIRise1963 White people don’t even listen to one another. They can’t even agree on a church, so there’s one on every corner. There are Republicans and Democrats, who will never again see eye to eye on anything, cis and LGBQT, and the list goes on. How can we expect them to listen to people they consider “other” when they won’t listen to each other.

Fifty years ago today, the military draft ended, creating the All-Volunteer Force. On this historic anniversary, we recognize the brave women and men who have raised their hand to serve.
