Justice Gorsuch highlighted the mistreatment of tribal communities by the federal government in a SCOTUS decision saying Justice Kavanaugh’s majority opinion neglected the circumstances leading to an 1868 water-rights treaty involving the Navajo Nation.

@Trollbaby I suspect Kavanaugh is perfectly happy remembering where we would all be. He’s all in for forced marriage, and probably wouldn’t mind having slaves. J/S @DemocracyMattersALot

Daylight today will be two seconds shorter than yesterday. Winter is coming.

Can we do something about adding photos that have nothing to do with posts? It’s misleading.

@evan Are there still stores that use human cashiers? @mentallyalex@beige.party

Malaria used to be endemic and not uncommon in the United States as far north as Chicago, before being eradicated by large-scale public health campaigns involving the draining of mosquito breeding sites and pesticide spraying.

This resurgence in Florida really wants to happen. The disease and the insect vector are both happy here, and I really wish people appreciated the scale of government involvement required to keep Malaria out.

@atheistengineer Heck, you don’t even have to live a good life if you accept Jesus on your deathbed, all your mortal sins are forgiven. It’s one hell of a racket. @tmruppert

@raymondpert Because I do eat fish, I don’t even question this. I don’t like chicken, but I figure beef and pork will follow. Are they even meat? @KarenStrickholm
