Republican lawmakers in Ohio want to increase the voter approval threshold for constitutional amendments from a simple majority to 60%. They want to stop new constitutional amendments from passing with majority support, including abortion rights and fair maps.

We’ve also been hearing a fair amount about shortages of cancer medication. A lot of the people who use opioid pain medication are cancer patients, and if their cancer is worsening because they aren’t receiving adequate chemotherapy, their pain is going to worsen, and if they are being denied their pain drugs on top of these artificially created shortages, the depth of the inhumanity of bureaucrats and accountants meddling in medicine will be beyond imagination.
