I don't think it's sufficiently sunk in for people that the entire "controversy" over Bud Light's partnership with Dylan Mulvaney was that she exists and the right doesn't want trans people to exist.
She didn't do anything. They sent bomb threats to beer bottling plants and cowed a brand into submission over a popular trans woman merely existing.
The right is saying they get decided who is allowed to live their lives in peace and who isn't, and they'll enforce it with threats and violence.

So glad to see he’s doing better and is open and honest about his struggle with depression. This may save someone’s life. If you’ve never had depression, it’s hard to understand.
People who are dealing with this deserve support. And we should have a healthcare system that takes care of it for everyone.

@StillIRise1963 Someone who talks about how they can't bring themselves to vote for Democrats because they are "the lesser of two evils & that's still evil!!!" are usually white/white-adjacent men who know that they will be just fine in a GOP dominated world because their whiteness & maleness means they can "pass" as one of the evil guys, i.e., they won't be targeted as the enemy. They are just assumed to be "one of the guys." They can play chicken with other people's lives.

@jann I agree with you on that. OTOH, I live in the area, and you can get a lot for not too much, and the weather here is ideal. Good place for retirement, and the more progressives retiring here, the better our chances of changing Alabama from within.

@AlliFlowers It might seem that way from an outside perspective but not to me. I think Welsh is perceived as having a lot of consonants because W and Y are vowels in Welsh.
