As a Texas District Judge considers the first major attack on a woman's right to choose since SCOTUS struck down Roe v. Wade, it's important to acknowledge that the Trump-appointed Judge is not a medical expert, but the FDA is.

The FDA approved Mifepristone -AKA Mifeprexin September 2009, raising the question of why now? Why take a lawsuit to SCOTUS 20+ years after FDA approval.

It's a political move and about control, but again, why question it's approval now?

In their Questions and Answers about Mifepristone, the FDA is transparent about the drug, including info about possible side effects and who should not take the drug.
