As much as I speak out against religion, the focus should really be on the sloppy thinking that makes religion possible. At least in my opinion.
@tofugolem We’d still be better off without it.
@tofugolem I don’t care what religion you choose. Country western is not a form of music.
@tofugolem Maybe it’s just organized religion then. Why do we need a community for Atheists? That’s kind of self-defeating.
I still believe that having dogma pounded into you makes you feel like you don’t need to think for yourself.
@tofugolem Which comes first, the chicken or the egg? Can we return to critical thinking while religion is in place and strong?

It is not ever OK for members of a religion to demand that people outside of their religion observe the rules of their religion. Not ever.
It doesn't matter if it's Hindus demanding that non-Hindus refrain from eating beef, or Muslims demanding that non-Muslims refrain from depictions of Mohammed, or Christians demanding that non-Christians refrain from abortions or gay marriage.
It's not OK.
It's not ever OK.

Kari Lake and Mark Finchem aren't the only GOP losers spouting election lies.
Meet Solomon Peña, who lost to Democrat Miguel Garcia for the NM state House 26% to 74%. Peña insisted the election was rigged against him and petitioned state officials to overturn the results.
When the angry man baby, a convicted felon who served 7 years in prison for 19 felonies, didn't get his way, he allegedly hired people to fire guns into the homes of four Albuquerque Democrats.

The Journal of Digital Life and Learning (#JDLL) is excited to announce the first special issue from #OntarioTech's Faculty of Education conference, "Redefining Learning & Education in a Digital Age".
This issue focuses on the link between Technology and Human Connection, and includes: wearable technologies in K-12, the role of emotions in learning, students' communication of mental health over social media, and the use of Discord in higher education.
