Taking advantage of the rare snow in south Alabama, we made a nonbinary Turkish snow person.

My cat's not such a bad guy. He rescued this little fellah from the snow and cold and brought him in the house.

So we have gotten a record snow fall here in south Alabama. While it's no big deal to Yankee defectors like me, so many people here have never seen snow before.

Went out for a short walk. None of the neighbor kids have ever seen snow before.

Snow on the Gulf Coast. Just enough to remind me why I left the north.

I love coastal living. We get all our seasons at once.

All done. C'mon you freaky Yankee winter weather!

We have three days of winter coming, so I’m preparing the trees. Unfortunately, the stapler broke before I was even half way done.

I can’t believe it’s the end of December and 70°.
