The European Data Protection Board said Wednesday it had adopted a binding decision that will ban Facebook and Instagram owner Meta from using the personal data of users for targeted advertisements.
Earlier this year Norway imposed a ban on sending Facebook and Instagram users targeted advertisements based on their personal data.

Seeking to pay for $14 billion of proposed aid to Israel sought by both parties, Speaker Mike Johnson on Monday unveiled legislation that would 👉cut roughly $14 billion from funds recently approved by Democrats to expand the IRS.
But Daniel Werfel, who was nominated by President Biden as the IRS commissioner last year, said the cuts would lead to greater expense by 👉reducing audits of the wealthy and large corporations and hampering the agency’s ability to collect revenue that funds the government.

The anti-fluoride movement continues to make dubious claims about the safety of fluoride in public drinking water. They are also expanding into new social media platforms, like TikTok, where everything old is new again. These platforms give a second (or more) life to old debunked claims, which means we have to constantly be whacking these moles down again.
