On July 19, 1963, a group of Black girls marched to desegregate their small town theater in Americus, Georgia.

The local police responded by beating them and taking them to an old Civil War stockade, where they were kept for 45 days.

Their parents didn't have a clue where their children were.

Dear POTUS, The Justice Department, and the FCC. By eliminating the Paramount Decrees, you have made way for the strikes and shutdown of our industry. That was an antiquated antitrust law that held back studios and streamers from forming monopolies. They are now crushing labor because there is no competition—there is no recourse to their demands. Please reinstate or better your antitrust laws for the entertainment industry.
