Brush Your Teeth? 🤔 This is one of those “could be “” issues. No worries, I brush mine, daily. 😊 mirror.co.uk/news/health/silen One more tip, why wear your arm out? Let technology do the work. The best thing you can do in defense against gun disease is get a SonicCare Tooth brush and a Waterpik Water Flosser, and use them daily. Years ago I was plagued by bleeding gums, noticed when I flossed. No more.

@Huntn00 somehow I can’t picture Texas folks putting up with watering restrictions.

@AlliFlowers BOO! His usual AHole self. The GOP really wants to dismantle Washington DC Federal Entities, and move the pieces to “friendly territory” where they can be remade in Master’s effigy.

@AlliFlowers Ted Lieu was impressive.
I hate being negative, but I can’t think of a better more appropriate time. Trump is a blank, blank, blank, blank, blank (fill in all the usual despicable adjectives. A pertinent question is when will 1/3 of the US get their heads out of their asses or are we down for the count? Will this be the Right imploding or will it be the great National unraveling? 🤔

@barb Why not “Life starts at first breath”, the Bible’s position on an unborn fetus? Never mind “love thy neighbor”, “freedom!”, “live and let live”, “small gov”, all GOP FOOL’D YA mottos. Ref the Bible in GOP Land, cited when perceived advantageous, lean on one way💩and call it religious beliefs, but ignore it when not aligned with the current political objective. And ALWAYS know their flock will herd along with whatever BS they say is the Christian political ideal. 🤔

Harsh 1- Since June we (East Texas) have been running mid 90s to low 100sF (32-40C) with with hear indexes about 110F, lows of 85F (29C) at night. A high pressure dome of heat parked over the Central US bringing no rain (at least to Texas) for several weeks and high temps. Comparing F to C. I prefer the spread of F over C, but consider I grew up with F. 🙂
A recent trip to Corpus Christi we saw large large fields of immature brown corn.

@Huntn00 I lived in far north Beaumont towards Lumberton and Vidor. Heat in the 90° was rough since it was also humid. I’d think all the trees and plants up that way would be way stressed. Is it possible there could be wildfires hazards there? Never heard of any about 35 years ago. But now?

@AlliFlowers Hey, at the rate things are going, it won't be long before being a teacher IS the crime. :)

Today I’m going for a background check and fingerprinting. Why? Because my teaching certification ran out two weeks ago. Might I have committed some heinous crime in those two weeks? What about during the 30+ years my original certification was valid? 🙄

For the love of sanity! Please put a photo that has something to do with your post instead of something that has nothing whatsoever to do with what you have to say.

Harsh 2- An alarming report is that the Oceans are turning green (more plant matter growing) due to the rise of temps, sharks are reported as dying. Another report said that El Niño usually causes a reduction of Atlantic hurricane activity, but with oceans heating up, that may change. I never thought I would be living in such a transitional period for the Earth. We have been warned for 40 years, yet as a species, we just blunder along until we are smacked upside the head. 😬

Missed this earlier this week; election reform by those who sought to overturn one: “House Republicans traveled to Georgia on Monday to reveal what they call the ‘most conservative election integrity bill to be seriously considered in the House in over 20 years.’ Four of the five Republicans on the House Administration Committee pushing the bill voted to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.”
