The local police responded by beating them and taking them to an old Civil War stockade, where they were kept for 45 days.

@AlliFlowers Easily described as anti-American, it’s hard for me to describe how disgusting this is, how easily it is for some citizens of the GOP persuasion to cheat the system, to stab Democracy in the back, for a personal advantage without using profanity.
To clarify, I didn’t approve when Democrats did it, but these days the GOP has cornered the gerrymandering market in their efforts to cling to power abusing the Rights of fellow citizens in the process. 🤬

@Jey_snow Not really, it’s simple awareness or general knowledge that in the realm of God/Jesus there are Catholics and those not Catholic- Lutheran, Presbyterian, Babptist, etc. As far as people in Germany who describe themselves as protestant, I don’t know other than they are saying they are not Catholic? Or maybe they don’t want to divulge more than that. 🤔

It’s in our nature and morality takes a back seat especially when we feel threatened. “If we don’t do it, someone else will.” We do what we are capable of doing. @Teri_Kanefield @jobsboils I don’t think we enjoy dealing with reality, and we have enough technical distractions these days to live in the fantasy of our choosing. As a species, I think we’re too selfish to make it collectively.
@Litzz11 It depends. #Barbie. I definitely won’t see it in the theater, but will likely stream it if the reviews are worthy. A movie like this can be stupid or have an intriguing plot/angle. That remains to be seen.
