Excellent and disturbing reporting this morning on #NPR about the sad history of #ClimateChange and our inability to cope. First there was decades of the denial, but now recognized as a real issue, threatening us and the planet, we face hard core resistance to any effective solution, even death threats to scientists who tell it like it is. Locked into our economies, and refusal to face reality, makes me very sad. I think we have fucked ourselves. 😢

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate my bank's tech? Every single year after a new iOS release, I have to wait for six months before I can access the bank's app. This is without fail. The app just crashes whenever I open it.

Secondly agreed, dismal, depressing, The Great Filter action. The Human species may not go extinct, but we are about to be slapped down, possible widespread conflict, destruction, and wholesale death as groups of humans sacrifice each other so they can survive, or live in comfort. We’re about to be sent back in time tech wise, 10th century, maybe? Some tech knowledge will remain so the future is not etched in stone. 😢
