@soc_i_ety@mstdn.ca What we are witnessing is a general breakdown of society. What you see are professed standards that are corrupted, pretending that there is nothing to see here, move along. Whether that be the #GOzP who claim to be patriots while undermining civil rights so they can wield power. Or evangelicals who profess love, but practise hate and go as far as electing Beelzebub as POTUS because he promised them “good times”. There’s enough of these bad 🍏 to spoil the pie. 😔

But this goes far beyond rhetoric , who accuses made up BS vs a record of established damaging actions, and your argument in this thread functions as nothing more than a big fat they are all the same, equivalence argument.
