@Melody@masto.ai What you see today is mostly a corrupt self-serving version of Christianity. You are right, they don’t repent and love, they don’t act like Jesus was reported to have acted. Instead they hate and want to poke you with their pitchforks if you don’t conform to their straight jacket views about this life. And they are utterly confused about the concept of freedom of religion. That does not mean Christianity gets to walk all over everyone else. It means live and let live. 🤔

@knittingknots2@mstdn.social A very easy answer, democracy does not serve the #GOzP’s ability to hold political power. Anti-democracy and any means to seize and hold power including authoritarian, fascism, and pseudo-theocracy becomes the solution. Plus they will rely on and fool the religious suckers who don’t even know what real Christianity is with their pretend devoutness while Satan is invited in through the back door. 👹

A report yesterday on Houston Public Media claims that #Texas leads the Nation with uncertified teachers, yet the State just approved $2M for a armed guard in all schools. A teacher retorted “too bad they could not come up with funds to pay for qualified teachers and school supplies. 🤔 My sarcastic take on the issue “Guns are the problem, more guns are the answer!” Brilliant! More opportunities to caress my preciousss. 😳

@AlliFlowers Palin- She was such a frontier, folksy flawed logic, tell it like it isn’t, 1+1=3 big mouth, and the base lapped her up to their detriment. There was a strong argument that she was not properly vetted by Team McCain.
