#Linux compatibility and performance on the desktop are so much better today than they have ever been.
Unless you have a compelling reason to run #Windows, you are missing out on a lot of performance, easy maintenance and actual freedom (from being nagged and advertised to death, among other things).
Especially in a world where so much happens in the browser, why subject yourself to Windows?
@steven is all the stuff I’m used to running on Windows available on Linux? In essence does Linus have the same broad acceptance? Of note, my sole interest in Windows is gaming and Unreal Engine. Acknowledged that Windows has baggage. For other serious computer stuff I’m all MacOS. 🙂
