Reason and path for hope. Coexistence has been accomplished with neighboring Jordan, a country who sought Israel's complete destruction. Peace was attained with Egypt. After a lot of effort, even the Iraninas signed a major agreement arresting the headlong drive towards mutual annihilation (our side pulled out of it). We’ve held negotiations with the Taliban and signed terms of peace. And we got very close to closing the deal with non-other than Arafat. All this took an incredible amount of work and vision. The tact of continuing a nihilistic path with ever greater numbers of killings and suffering of innocents is proven to only lead to temporary victories and pushing the prospect of peace far into the future.
@Americanist4u Israel has thought for 3 decades (at least) that keeping Palestinians under their economic thumb was justified for their security. And when they kill 10 of us, we kill 30 of them for the proper lesson, and our security will be assured… not quite. 🤔

The scale of the bloodbath is exponential, almost assuring the current path leading to mutual annihilation, sooner or later. The way of envisioning a reasonable compromise includes the elimination from power of genocidal maniacs on one side and supremacist domination on the other. It is the only option leading to equanimity and peace.
