Quarterly global solar installations appear to be growing at 50% per annum over the past three years." Also, China's first half 2023 solar build jumped 154% compared to H1 2022! World may add about 390 GW of solar in 2023.
The #ClimateProgress the U.S. has made because enough Americans voted for Biden will be causing our 8% share of this graph to soon increase thankfully too!
@GreenFire I want solar panels just don’t want to spend $30k for them. 🤔
@GreenFire I could afford to buy them, average citizens can’t afford this kind of expense. For widespread adoption, It’s something that should be subsidized by govt. Neither of the 2 companies I looked at mentioned anything about credits. In addition this kind of expense is more suitable for long term . I maybe moving soon and it just did not make sense for my circumstance. However I admit I don’t like living in a state where I’m dependent on the grid for a livable environment.
@Huntn00
Yeah, it's definitely not an easy decision to make and for someone like me that has no income there are nothing except for tax credits to help offset my investment in getting to net-zero
I'll not tell you how much adding #solar and/or #batteries will increase your building's resale value, but it seems to clearly do that according to multiple sources though so even if moving in a few years you can recoup some of your investment towards a stable climate at least.https://www.ecowatch.com/solar/solar-panels-increase-home-value#Do%20Solar%20Panels%20Make%20Sense%20For%20Your%20Home?
