@CdnCurmudgeon You prompted me to look up neoliberal. This is significantly a worse transformation than the conversion of conservative to neocon which the latter basically heads in the same downward trajectory. I don’t support neoliberalism if and when it’s emphasis becomes propping up capitalists. However I still believe that a capitalist system with hard core regs, caps on wealth, and social safety nets could work… if we have it in us. 🤔

@Huntn00 Capitalism with such regulations on corporations, monopolies, and wealth is called socialism. Plus, of course, we need environmental protection, and protective labour laws. All of which the CONservatives want to eliminate to allow unrestricted laissez-faire capitalism to take hold here.
