I grew up within, and was deeply trained by, a #Christian #religion that negated and demonized the "other." Hard, definite lines had to be draw between us and them (meaning any other religion and even most all other versions of #Christianity). But, this negating and demonizing the "other" is, sadly, common among many religions and religious groups.

@tuckerteague A reasonable position in this video about religious pluralism. The real problem? It’s when religion turns faith into fact. The secondary issue prominent in the USA among Evangelicals is when Christianity is corrupted for the express purpose of political advantage. When anti-Christian Wolves are embraced because they promise to cater to Christian prejudices. Live and let live? No. Freedom of and from religion? No. A Christian Theocracy? YES. Anti-American? YES. 🤔
