After some initial good results Threads is mostly showing me celebrity-influence content despite my muting a large number. I wonder if the people I follow are not posting much.
My Mastodon feeds have been relatively quiet as well.
Happily the Utepils Sunday bike ride is starting soon! (Minneapolis brew pub weekly event, 4 road and 3 singletrack groups. Twin Cities summers are insane.)
@jgordon I lived in Minnesota longer than any other place , 3 decades and loved it. After 4 decades of following me around and retirement looming, my better half insisted in her getting a turn so we moved to Houston to be closer to her family. Texas is cheaper, you get what you pay for? And it’s way too big of a city and too hot for to many months of the year., but Houston is blueish in a rural sea of red. 🙃
