Happy Fourth to everyone who wants America to become more rational, compassionate and once again a place where personal rights and liberties are respected above all else.

@NurseStacey Not a challenge to your post, but in its spirit, it seems like we collectively need to have group discussion about how “my rights” don’t extend to stepping on others, deprive others of a basic level of equality so I can maintain my privilege, shove my beliefs down your throat, nor jimmy democracy in my favor.. 🤔

@Huntn00 absolutely, what we have seen lately are a religious minority working especially through the Supreme Court and local legislatures who feel their religious freedom extends to forcing everyone to be “good little Christians” wether we like it or not. As a woman raising daughters, I feel this violation of personal rights keenly.

@NurseStacey If “American” is subscribing to principles laid out by Founding Fathers, Freedom of Religion includes freedom from religion, and “Anti-American” is the Cristian theocracy the Right is trying to establish in the USA while undermining the Constitution and trying to fool their base, redefining the definition of patriotism. This is not an anti-Christian sentiment as long as Christians can live and let live. More power to figuring out this existence. 🫣🤔☺️
