@tigerpunk@masto.pt Nihilism: A doctrine that nothing actually exists or that existence or values are meaningless. I have been pondering this since I retired without work to occupy a hefty junk of my life. Here is the point, if our existence is just one lifetime, a flash in the infinite expanse of time, nothing matters, who cares? We’re all dead, non-existence is the norm. For it to matter, have meaning, there must be more. I like this idea, just not prepared to speculate on what that more is.
