I was just talking to a neighbor -- who's absolutely lovely, biblically nice guy -- and had to explain this fact.

Black and Latinx folks aren't categorically poorer because we're "dumb". That's just how the country was set up.

When it comes to white supremacy, some folks attribute "intelligence" to what is actually "insidiousness"

@somarasu White Privileged is mixed in there, a milder version of Supremacy but allows whites of any income bracket to feel superior and expect special treatment.🤔 And at the beginning look at who founded the country and who was brought in as slaves. A professor’s analogy, playing Monopoly and not being able to buy property for 20 trips around the board a distinct disadvantage. And most immigrants arrive economically disadvantaged. A lot of work required to overcome.
