@ArenaCops @AlliFlowers There are 3 cities that account for nearly all of that: New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport (in that order). Only one has a Democrat Mayor. If troops do come here, guess where they're going. That being said, Landry already sent some of them to other states to 'help'.

Like Nancy Barnes, Wilkins-Jordan wants more security on the streets. She also says the D.C. police need to be much more visible in the community. But — more than two weeks after the White House declared a "crime emergency"— she says she has yet to see any federal officers or National Guard troops in the neighborhood.

If trump were in any way serious about using US forces to fight crime in American cities, they'd have been sent to Memphis first.
The fact that he has not sent anyone to take control of the crime capital of the country proves he doesn't care about citizen's safety. Or crime.
