When we see an Asian man speaking English, nobody bats an eye. They might get made fun of for their accent or their grammar. But nobody really thinks much of it.
A White man speaking Mandarin though? No matter how shitty it is, everyone acts like they saw a flipping god.
It's like non white people are expected to learn English to near perfect levels but if white people even have a mediocre grasp of a second language, we must bow before them.
